Volleyball Recap: Payson Brantley and Lily Grace Kennington Secure Win for Great Falls + How To Watch

Great Falls won the last time they faced Chester and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Devils came out on top against the Cyclones by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Great Falls had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 27-25, 26-24.

Leading Great Falls to victory were Lily Grace Kennington and Payson Brantley. Kennington had 15 kills and three blocks, while Brantley had eight kills, six digs, and four aces. That's the most digs Brantley has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emily Manning, who had 20 assists.

Great Falls' win bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Chester, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Great Falls will be playing at home against Lewisville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Red Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Chester, they will head out on the road to challenge Thornwell at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
