Volleyball Game Preview: The Gregory School Hawks vs. Palo Verde Titans

The Gregory School Hawks will challenge the Palo Verde Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Wednesday, The Gregory School didn't have quite enough to beat Cicero Prep Academy and fell 3-2. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Gregory School took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 25-0, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Palo Verde came up short against Mica Mountain on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.

The Gregory School's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Palo Verde, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
