Volleyball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northeast lost against Mitchell back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Mitchell was led to victory by Maddie Bruno and Emma Hatzistefanou. Bruno had nine digs, while Hatzistefanou had 14 assists. That's the most digs Bruno has posted since back in August.

Northeast has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Mitchell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Northeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Tampa Bay HEAT on the 4th. As for Mitchell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Clearwater Central Catholic on the 4th.
