White Knoll beats Chapin for their ninth straight win

Recap: White Knoll Timberwolves vs. Chapin Eagles
The White Knoll Timberwolves put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They secured a 20-14 W over Chapin. Given White Knoll's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Chapin is ranked 52nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
White Knoll was led to victory by Cj Earl and Landon Sharpe. Earl picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Sharpe rushed for 81 yards.
White Knoll's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Westwood and 2-7 South Aiken (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 33.3% over those games). As for Chapin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
White Knoll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chapin will be playing in front of their home fans against River Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th.
