Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cuyahoga Heights). Their defense stepped up to hand the Brooklyn Hurricanes a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Cuyahoga Heights needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Bryce Rusch and Nolan Juhnke scored all five of Cuyahoga Heights' goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Cuyahoga Heights' victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for Brooklyn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuyahoga Heights will challenge Beachwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Brooklyn, they will face off against Brush at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
