Baseball Recap: Pendleton Drops Season-High Score on Baker/Powder Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pendleton). Everything went their way against the Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs on Friday as they made off with a 19-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Buckaroos as they're now sitting on six straight.

Pendleton pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Baker/Powder Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Pendleton has already played their next match, a 10-7 win against Scappoose on the 22nd. As for Baker/Powder Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Enterprise/Joseph on the 22nd.
