Soccer Recap: Coventry Falls Short Against Ranked Scituate

Coventry faced Scituate in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Oakers lost 4-0 to the Spartans. Considering the last time Coventry couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Coventry's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-4. As for Scituate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Coventry will head out to take on Mt. Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scituate, they will venture away from home to challenge Exeter-West Greenwich at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
