Zaylan Kirby was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Kirby was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBI.
Like Moffat County, Highland also got a great game from a two-way player: John Bingley. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Bingley was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.
