Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bonners Ferry). They claimed a resounding 71-38 victory over the Stillwater Christian Cougars. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Badgers considering their 17-point performance the contest before.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bonners Ferry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taren Bateman, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 23 points along with seven steals and five assists. What's more, Bateman also posted a 57% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaycee Bateman, who shot 56% from the field en route to 20 points.

Bonners Ferry's win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonners Ferry will welcome Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stillwater Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
