Basketball Recap: Midland Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Midland hadn't done well against Cornerstone Christian recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Midland Timberwolves snuck past the Cornerstone Christian Cyclones with a 53-49 win. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 46-42 victory the Cyclones walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Midland's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-16. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points over those games. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-17.
