Basketball Recap: Orland Skates Past Live Oak with Ease

Orland posted their biggest victory since January 9th on Friday. They really took it to the Live Oak Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-33 win. With the Trojans ahead 33-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Orland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Preston Carlson led the charge by going 9 for 15 en route to 20 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Thompson, who posted seven points along with eight assists and seven boards.

Orland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive games.
