Volleyball Recap: South Bend Riley Takes a Loss

South Bend Riley lost against Lowell back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Za'Maria Nero paced South Bend Riley's offense, picking up seven kills. Nero got some help from Teriana Brown and her 12 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

South Bend Riley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lowell, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, South Bend Riley will square off against South Bend Saint Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lowell, they will take on Merrillville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
