Basketball Game Preview: Granby Comets vs. Manor Mustangs

Granby is 2-8 against Manor since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Granby Comets will challenge the Manor Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Granby will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Monday, Granby strolled past Norfolk Christian with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.

Meanwhile, Manor can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 win over Armstrong.

Granby pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Manor, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.

Granby lost to Manor on the road by a decisive 68-50 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Granby avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
