Football Recap: Signal Mountain Takes a Loss

Signal Mountain made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Loudon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Redskins by a score of 20-17 on Friday. The Eagles have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Signal Mountain now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Loudon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Signal Mountain is set to challenge their familiar foe Hixson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Loudon will square off against rival Red Bank at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
