Softball Recap: Bethel Takes a Loss

Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Puyallup Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 17-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Puyallup, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethel will head out to challenge Auburn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Puyallup, they will venture away from home to take on Fife at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 13.7 runs per game this season.
