Hooks had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Liberty-Eylau on Tuesday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Leopards recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Hooks' victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Liberty-Eylau, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14-1.
