Baseball Recap: Mill Creek Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Mill Creek barely beat Wapanucka the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bullfrogs beat the Indians on Monday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 18-6. The result was nothing new for the Bullfrogs, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Mill Creek pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Wapanucka, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Mill Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-3 defeat against Stonewall on the 8th. As for Wapanucka, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Milburn at 4:00 p.m.
