Luray had won two straight games and Matthew Owens did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Luray Bulldogs took down the Page County Panthers 65-51 thanks to Owens, who went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.4% field goal percentage.

Another player making a difference was Jae Frye, who posted four points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (two).

Luray pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Page County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luray will square off against Central Woodstock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Woodstock will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Luray surely won't give up without a fight. As for Page County, they will challenge Luray at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
