Football Recap: University Comes Up Short

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Timber Creek Wolves and fell 32-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Wolves are ranked 42nd).

University's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Timber Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

University will square off against Colonial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Grenadiers' defense has only allowed 7.8 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them. Timber Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
