Brooke Point came into Friday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Massaponax Panthers 18-6 on Friday. The game marked the Black Hawks' most dominant victory of the season.

Catie Alley and Lizzy Hastings did most of the damage at the plate: Alley went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Hastings went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Hastings a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Sanchez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Brooke Point kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-10. As for Massaponax, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Coming up, Brooke Point will take on Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Massaponax, they will face off against Hylton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
