Basketball Recap: Sealy Comes Up Short

Sealy and La Grange squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Sealy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the La Grange Leopards by a score of 68-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since December 30, 2023.

Kylie Trlicek continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for La Grange, putting up 21 points in addition to six steals and five assists. Trlicek's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Landri Hernandez, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Sealy and nudges their season record down to 21-8. As for La Grange, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Sealy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. La Grange has already played their next matchup (against Salado), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
