Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Reds vs. Mountain Crest Mustangs

The Cedar Reds will square off against the Mountain Crest Mustangs at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cedar is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Uintah.

Meanwhile, Mountain Crest hadn't done well against Sky View recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mustangs won by a set and slipped past the Bobcats 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since September 6th.

The victory got Cedar back to even at 15-15. As for Mountain Crest, their win bumped their record up to 18-13.

Cedar suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Mountain Crest in their previous meeting back in October of 2021. Can the Reds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
