Basketball Recap: Spring-Ford Takes a Loss

Spring-Ford suffered their closest loss since February 14th on Friday. They fell just short of the Augusta Christian Lions by a score of 71-68. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 95th in Pennsylvania, while the Lions are ranked 22nd in Georgia).

Spring-Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Augusta Christian, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Spring-Ford won't have much time to rest: their next match is against West Ashley at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Augusta Christian, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Loudoun Valley at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
