Lambert won the last time they faced South Forsyth and Ethan Daughtery did his part to make sure it happened again. The Longhorns simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the War Eagles 45-7 thanks in part to Daughtery, who threw for 300 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 38 yards. He has become a key player for Lambert: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 300 passing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.

Lambert didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hudson Lee and Sunny Pachika.

Lambert is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.7 points over those games. As for South Forsyth, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, after each having a week off, Lambert and Douglas County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. South Forsyth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
