Softball Recap: High Tech SD Takes a Loss

High Tech SD lost against La Jolla back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Storm came up short against the Vikings, falling 13-4. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexa Aranda made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Imani Woolfolk, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

High Tech SD now has a losing record of 8-9. As for La Jolla, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. High Tech SD will challenge rival Hoover at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, La Jolla is set to square off against their familiar foe Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
