Basketball Recap: Jackson County Comes Up Short

Jackson County lost against North Laurel back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jackson County Generals were dealt a 50-23 loss at the hands of the North Laurel Jaguars. The game marked the Generals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jackson County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for North Laurel, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2.

Coming up, Jackson County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Perry County Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Laurel, they will head out on the road to square off against Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
