Triumph Charter skates past CHAMPS with ease

The Triumph Charter Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season. They blew past CHAMPS 66-23 on the road. Given Triumph Charter's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while CHAMPS is ranked 1232nd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Triumph Charter found their leader in underclassman Antonio Garcia III, who scored 16 points. The match was Garcia III's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Logan Jiho was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Triumph Charter's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for CHAMPS, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Triumph Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Central City Value at 2:30 p.m. on December 18th. CHAMPS will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valley Oaks CES at 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024.
