Softball Recap: Huntsville Takes a Loss

Huntsville managed to slip by Alma the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huntsville Eagles came up short against the Alma Airedales on Monday, falling 16-1. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Huntsville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kassidy Oberan, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Huntsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Alma, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Huntsville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Berryville at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Alma, they will square off against Greenwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
