Softball Recap: Prairiland Comes Up Short

Prairiland lost against Winnsboro back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots lost 9-3 to the Raiders. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairiland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scotland Fendley, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Prairiland's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Winnsboro, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Coincidentally, Prairiland and Winnsboro will both be playing Mount Vernon the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
