Anthony Wayne is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Walsh Jesuit a 1-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Generals have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Steele entered their tilt with New Albany on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Eagles.

Anthony Wayne is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.1 runs over those games. As for Steele, their win bumped their record up to 24-2.
