Basketball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

Cosby lost against Manchester back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cosby Titans fell 43-36 to the Manchester Lancers. The match marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rayne Wright continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Manchester, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. Wright's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Keileen Edwards was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Cosby's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Manchester, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Cosby wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-14 victory against Huguenot on the 16th. As for Manchester, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-18 win against Midlothian on the 16th.
