Volleyball Recap: East Forsyth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Forsyth was the 3-2 winner over West Forsyth when they last played one another on September 9th, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Titans on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-27, 25-11, 25-21.

Kinnady Boothe paced East Forsyth's offense, picking up 20 kills. Boothe got some help from Maddie Fendley and her 20 assists. Boothe and Fendley didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

West Forsyth can attribute much of their success to Anna Hege, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hege has posted since back in August.

East Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for West Forsyth, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

East Forsyth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Parkland on the 30th. As for West Forsyth, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Marvin Ridge on the 27th.
