Basketball Recap: Edgar Victorious

Edgar won the last time they faced Athens and things went their way on Thursday too. The Edgar Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Athens Bluejays, sneaking past 65-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted against the Bluejays since January 25, 2019.

Edgar's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Athens, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Edgar will head out on the road to square off against Newman at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Athens, they will welcome Prentice at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
