After a string of three wins, Portland's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Robertson Indians. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Portland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Portland's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for East Robertson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Portland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Westmoreland on the 25th. East Robertson has also already played their next game (against Jo Byrns), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
