Basketball Game Preview: John Curtis Christian Patriots vs. Fort Bend Elkins Knights

The John Curtis Christian Patriots and the Fort Bend Elkins Knights will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. John Curtis Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, John Curtis Christian came up short against Catholic and fell 61-51. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Bears are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Elkins came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 47-40 win over Dunham on Friday.

Fort Bend Elkins' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for John Curtis Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
