Volleyball Recap: Fenwick Comes Up Short

Fenwick lost against Oak Park-River Forest back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Friars fell 2-0 to the Huskies.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14.

BELLA GRAY paced Fenwick's offense, picking up eight kills. GRAY got some help from SOFIA GROSSMAN and her seven assists.

Erin Dwyer was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 assists and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Fenwick's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Fenwick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against St. Laurence on the 23rd. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Saint Ignatius College Prep on the 23rd.
