Softball Game Preview: St. Henry Crusaders vs. Ludlow Panthers

St. Henry is 2-8 against Ludlow since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Crusaders will host the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. St. Henry has given up an average of 17.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

St. Henry is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Calvary Christian, falling 20-5.

Meanwhile, Ludlow unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 6-3 to Dayton.

Ludlow saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miley Lay, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Juliette Hansen, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

St. Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Ludlow, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8-1.
