Volleyball Recap: Nashville's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Nashville had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Herrin Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Emma Behrmann paced Nashville's offense, picking up nine kills. Behrmann got some help from Aubrey Rhine and her 13 assists. Finally, Belle Schmale and Samantha Brinkmann kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Nashville's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Herrin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Nashville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Massac County on the 30th. As for Herrin, they will be playing at home against Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
