            Basketball Recap: West Seneca East Trojans vs. Pioneer Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            If West Seneca East was feeling good  fresh off their  51-31 takedown of Lackawanna last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Seneca East Trojans were beaten by the Pioneer Panthers 66-25 on Tuesday. The  match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
 Despite the  defeat, West Seneca East saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Madelyn Marcezin  posted eight points and three  steals. Marcezin is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed three or more in the last three games she's  played.

With the  loss, West Seneca East broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8. As for Pioneer, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Seneca East will head out to  take on Iroquois  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Pioneer, they will take on Lake Shore at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
