La Salle Academy heads in on the heels of a playoff game two weeks ago. They fell just short of Barrington by a score of 30-28. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, East Providence faced Narragansett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. East Providence came up short against Narragansett, falling 60-40. The Townies' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

East Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for La Salle Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Everything went La Salle Academy's way against East Providence in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as La Salle Academy made off with a 52-28 win. Will La Salle Academy repeat their success, or does East Providence have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
