Volleyball Game Preview: Tumwater Thunderbirds vs. Woodland Beavers + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Tumwater Thunderbirds and the Woodland Beavers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tumwater is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.

On Wednesday, Tumwater made easy work of Aberdeen and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Woodland posted their closest victory since October 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Washougal, sneaking past 3-2.

Woodland was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-10.

The win got Woodland back to even at 8-8. As for Tumwater, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2-2.

Tumwater took their win against Woodland when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Thunderbirds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
