Basketball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Covington-Douglas Wildcats and fell 64-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Longhorns have suffered against the Wildcats since January 18, 2020.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Covington-Douglas, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Dover will be home for the holidays to greet Garber at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covington-Douglas, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-40 defeat against Pond Creek-Hunter on the 11th.
