Football Recap: Fullington Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fullington Academy lost against David Emanuel Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans took a blow against the Eagles, falling 58-20. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aidan Hill, who rushed for 60 yards and one TD on only six carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and one score. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 62 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Blake Hendrickson, who threw for 179 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Revan Fortner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for David Emanuel Academy, rushing for 140 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Fortner is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Braddy, who threw for 103 yards and three TDs.

Fullington Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for David Emanuel Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
