Softball Recap: Stafford Comes Up Short

The Stafford Indians didn't have quite enough to beat the North Stafford Wolverines on Monday and fell 6-4.

Denae Lardge made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with five stolen bases and three runs. Madelyn Thompson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for North Stafford, the victory also got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Stafford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-3 defeat against Riverbend on the 15th. As for North Stafford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Massaponax on the 15th.
