Basketball Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Bellevue Tigers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-54 to the Cosby Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Cosby, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-7.

Bellevue will head out to square off against Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Highlands will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bellevue surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cosby, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hancock County at 6:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
