Steele Canyon came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mount Miguel Matadors on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-27, 25-11.

Several Matadors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamall Soulivong, who had 16 digs. Joel Estrella also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Steele Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Mount Miguel, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-27.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Steele Canyon will challenge rival West Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mount Miguel is set to take on their familiar foe El Capitan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
