Soccer Recap: Vail Mountain Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to six goals the game before, Vail Mountain was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the Battle Mountain Huskies. While losing is never fun, Vail Mountain can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while Battle Mountain are ranked 12th).

Vail Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Battle Mountain, they pushed their record up to 9-2-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vail Mountain will host Aspen at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th.
