The Covington Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Covington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Covington took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Riverton Parke, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans won by a run and slipped past the Panthers 9-8. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

In other batting news, Cian Moore was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. He has become a key player for Covington: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 7-8 otherwise.
