Vincennes Rivet's contest on Monday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Bloomfield Cardinals. Considering Vincennes Rivet have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Vincennes Rivet and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two games. As for Bloomfield, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vincennes Rivet will challenge Evansville Day at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloomfield, they will square off against Shoals at 5:00 p.m. on October 1.
