Homestead and South Dade are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Broncos will get right back to it and host the Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Homestead has given up an average of 68.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, South Dade posted their closest win since December 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Miami Beach 53-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buccaneers.

Homestead better keep an eye on Rodney Holmes. He was instrumental in South Dade's win, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 15 boards. Another player making a difference was Rodney West, who posted ten points and three steals.

South Dade smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

South Dade's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Homestead, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.
